Basic qualifications:

  • Degree in any disciple is acceptable
  • Preference for Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or Degree in Business with Major in Decision Sciences, Strategy & Policy, Operations Management or Strategic Management
  • Minimum achievement of a Second Upper or GPA 3.0 and above
  • No more than 2 years post graduate work experience
  • Authorized to work within Singapore

As a Supply Chain graduate at GSK, you can expect to gain awareness and understanding of the end to end Supply Chain and gain experience in different functions such as;

  • Manufacturing: Be involved in ensuring GSK makes right products and delivers them to the right place at the right time
  • Contract Manufacturing : Responsible for Sourcing, Contracting and Managing the External third party operations for the products or services add up to the overall product portfolio of GSK in the Region
  • Supply Planning : Be involved in supply planning and end-to-end delivery and cost optimisation across sites/markets in the region
  • Customer Service and Logistics: Be involved with the Warehouse and Distribution network, interfacing with Logistics Service Providers and external customers.

What will the programme be like?

This three-year programme involves different rotations to give you wide experience within different roles and working environments, alongside a number of training courses. Throughout the programme, you will have numerous opportunities to meet with other graduates for training, and networking events. You will undertake a number of core training and personal development courses, alongside additional opportunities arranged using your personal training budget.

Joining our global manufacturing and supply (GMS) division, you'll undertake business-critical roles.

What will I learn?

As a graduate you will have the chance to develop your skills in an industry that is making radical changes to the way it develops and manufactures products. In supply chain, you will gain awareness and understanding of the multiple functions and steps involved in an end to end supply chain to deliver optimum value to the business and the customer. We are developing new, state-of-the-art technologies all the time and we'll give you the support and inspiration to plot your own career development.

Initial roles are within your local country. But we're a truly global organisation, so you may find the opportunity to gain international experience in the future.

What's expected of me?

We'll expect you to get involved in managing projects and prioritising a variety of tasks effectively. This means you'll need to build working relationships with people at all levels of our organisation. In addition, you'll analyse information and report your findings, so we can identify and understand trends, insights and facts. We'll also look to you to help research and source this information. Not least, we want you to keep developing new skills and knowledge wherever you find the opportunity.

What do I need to succeed?

A relevant degree and strong technical skills are just the start. You'll need ambition, a genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a self-motivated, proactive approach. We're looking for clear, effective communicators who can quickly build a rapport with a wide range of people. It's also important that you can adapt to change and keep focused when the pressure is on. As rotations may be located in different sites, flexibility with mobility would be expected. While you've the drive and confidence to trust your own judgement, you're a real team player who actively collaborates with others. In addition, you'll need an analytical mind, a talent for multi-tasking and the ability to influence others.

If you don't complete the assessment within 72 hours, it will expire and your participation in our selection process will come to an end.
