Supplier Diversity Manager

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Related Field.

5 or more years of industry experience, including time in a procurement role

Demonstrated analytical skills

Preferred qualifications:

Systems Foundations (including P2P)

Procurement Project Management

Job Overview:

To lead and support the management and development of spend with diverse suppliers to meet internal GSK targets across Global Procurement

To work with Procurement staff to educate, influence and provide guidance to support the attainment of diverse spend targets

To work with the diverse supply base to support capability development and create opportunities for gaining business

Key Job Responsibilities:

Execute GSK's Supplier Diversity Program ensuring all Global and US Federal requirements are met and GSK internal targets are met

Work with Procurement staff with responsibility for sourcing in the US to educate, influence and provide guidance to support attainment of agreed targets

Establish and drive the delivery of diversity targets in Global Procurement working closely with Procurement VPs across Global Procurement to ensure directorate level plans are in place and being implemented to achieve agreed targets

Build and maintain accurate databases identifying diverse supplier classifications

Ensure accurate reporting of diversity spend

Ensure accurate classifications of supplier's diversity classification status

Monitor and report progress against targets and ensure action plans are in place to deliver targets and to correct under-delivery where appropriate

Work with the diverse supply base to support capability development and create opportunities for gaining business

Work with Global Procurement to agree annual diverse spend targets

Create a network outside GSK to understand good practice and opportunities to improve performance
