Supervisor engineering

Basic qualifications:

  • Industrial engineer with post-graduation experience .
  • Previous experience with a minimum of 5 years in a pharmaceutical industry is required (GSK is a plus) .
  • Proven experience in legal inspection.
  • Experience in the compliance and drafting of the IMP (Inspection Master Plan)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge in legal inspection and particularly in pressure equipments.
  • Practical experience in project supervision, site management and people management.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical and quality requirements (cGMP ...).
  • Knowledge of valve, piping, regulator, trap ...
  • Knowledge of typical equipment like distillers, pure steam generator, autoclaves ...
  • Knowledge of LOTO (lock out tag out).
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics and P & ID figures.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Emergencies duties , flexibility and responsibility
  • Negociations skills for technical issues with suppliers.
  • Have a good network inside and outside GSK vaccines in his discipline.
  • French (spoken and written) + Technical English
  • Knowledge of the guidelines: PED, RGPT, RGIE ... ..
  • Proven experience in the design of pressure equipment and knowledge of construction codes (CODAP, ASME, AD-Merkblatt ...).
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the design and implementation of engineering projects (Study, dimensional calculation: expansion station, pressure drop, ......)
  • Knowledge of document management systems in use at GSK: Techshare, SAP_PM ....
  • Practical experience in drafting repair protocols: Autoclave, tank, fermenter ...
  • Welds non-destructive tests knowledge.
  • Very effective for challenging the remarks and comments of the accredited bodies


Job Purpose:

  • Individually or as part of the project team responsible for the execution, coordination and monitoring of system design (tanks, piping, etc.) and technical issues related to the different CNDs.
  • Ensure that the deliverable meets national and / or international design standards and pharmaceutical requirements.
  • Technical support for project teams to ensure compliance during commissioning of installed systems.
  • Commissioning and decommissioning of production systems.
  • Management of technical projects for the MPU (Manufacturing Performance Unit).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the conformity of the 4 disciplines: Elec. , ESP. , Lifting and working equipments.
  • Responsible for monitoring and carrying out periodic inspections with the various accredited bodies.
  • Manage repairs and / or modifications that are deemed necessary on the equipments .
  • Drafting of the protocols and creation of the files necessary for commissioning.
  • Relay of the legal inspection for the MPU.
  • To examine and participate in the improvement of systems.
  • In-depth analysis of systems reliability studies: corrosion, erosion ...
  • Participate in the improvement of facilities control tools and methods.
  • Fixed P & IDs.
  • Creation and closure of maintenance notices (MO, CO, PR, RP).
  • Personnal management.
