Sr Director, Insights & Analytics, Biologics
BS/BA degree in quantitative sciences field
7 years required of marketing or commercial analysis related experience (Market research, marketing/sales analytics, forecasting, etc.)
5+ years experience in healthcare/life science analytics
Demonstrated Leadership (first line leader experience or successful matrix leadership or enterprise leadership) required
3+ years leading an analytical function or team
Demonstrated breadth of experience (at least 2 functions, 2 BUs, 2 companies, or 2 geographies) preferred
- MS or PhD
3+ years in Biologics preferred
3+ years as Brand Lead on a major asset preferred
3+ years commercial analysis preferred
- Demonstrated ability to apply data and analyses to drive high impact business decisions
- Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team in driving performance
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior commercial leadership and confidently defend informed recommendations
- Strong verbal and written communication/ presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment and influence without formal authority

- Develop an in-depth knowledge of biologic brands/segments, competitive environment, business model, and challenges/opportunities in order to proactively identify appropriate research & analytics
Drive optimal strategic & tactical decision-making through identification and execution of timely, actionable, and methodologically sound research and analyses. Lead team to:Influence optimal brand/segment strategy, customer targeting for both Marketing and Sales, and deployment of resources Identify strategic opportunities through deep market and customer insight through leadership of:Primary Research (including Health Systems, Accounts & Pharmacy)
Secondary data analyses and behavioral analyses of HCPs, Health Systems, Accounts, Pharmacies, Patients, and Payers to understand influences and drivers of business performance
Influence decisions for optimal commercial effectiveness, deployment, and execution of selling resources and identify high impact opportunities at a geographic level through leadership of:POA analyses and product focus maximization, GSK vs. CSO analytics, vacancy impact, sub-national performance assessments and diagnostics
Selling team distribution, optimal territory design and alignment
Call planning and routing analytics Prioritize team's activities based on needs of BU Leadership;
Ensure strong connections between Business Units and the Insights & Analytics team at all levels; Champion the needs of the enterprise in development and evolution of key "enablers", including automated performance reporting, quarterly business reviews, and strategic data management
Partner with Advanced Analytics to oversee robust, quarterly business reviews; support communication of findings/decisions/proposals to CLT
Partner with Advanced Analytics to ensure appropriate training for and rigorous analyses by the Insights & Analytics team and to ensure a strong understanding of the business by the Advanced Analytic team
Drive business efficiency and seamless decision-making through cross-matrix collaboration, especially with other analytic functions, e.g. Forecasting, Payer Analytics
Consult with Global partners to provide US point of view on business, where appropriate
Support the global market research category initiative to manage MSA vendor list (e.g. streamline where appropriate, evaluate new vendors for better insight generation)
