Senior Specialist, Automation - Operational Technologies
Responsible for OT (Operational Technology) solutions which are deployed at GSK vaccines sites and throughout the vaccines business. Act as the automation global expert for OT systems and solutions such as:
- Lead automation design on projects
- Define and maintain standards
- Manage OT lifecycle and OT cybersecurity
Lead automation design :
o Ensure the appropriate standards and applied for OT systems and OT cybersecurity on Global CAPEX projects and automation strategic projects. Accountable to deliver OT design compliant with OT cybersecurity standards
Define and maintain standards:
o Own technical standard guidelines for OT systems and solutions. Define and maintain OT cybersecurity standards.
Manage Automation solution lifecycle:
o Monitor and assess new developments, industry trends, evolving regulatory expectations in area of expertise
o Represent GSK in internal and external boards and contribute to the development of new standards
o Manage internal network of local and global experts and ensure sharing of best-practice and learnings in area of expertise
o Maintain current knowledge of global regulations and guidance, global regulatory expectations, inspection intelligence, innovative / new technologies, industry standards and registered risks pertaining to area of expertise
o Development and delivery of training materials for OT systems and cybersecurity standards
o Support site in implementation of GSK Vaccines OT Cybersecurity requirements and monitor site implementation status
o Provide expertise support (e.g. inspections preparation and response writing, risks, observations, deviations, improvement initiatives, remediation, CAPA globalization, Quality Alerts)
o Manage obsolescence plan for OT systems and solutions

•At least 10 years of experience in Biologics or Pharmaceutical industry; ideally with experience working in FDA approved sites; Experiences in respective area with demonstrated successful results
• Master degree
• IT Certification
• Reliable individual -a change agent-, with strong managerial and leadership skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage networks and build relationships transversally across the Vaccines network and beyond.
• Customer focused; ability to understand requirements of local sites
• Excellent technical writing skills (in English)
• In depth knowledge and expertise in automation area.
• Knowledge in defense in depth concept and OT cybersecurity standards
• Familiarity with Project Management principles.
