We are seeking a motivated lab-based scientist with experience in preclinical CAR/TCR projects to join the Translational Medicine team of the Oncology Cell Therapy Discovery Performance Unit (OCT DPU) in Collegeville, PA.
The role will include:
Designing, executing, and documenting experiments, as well as data analysis and interpretation.
The ideal candidate will have either an M.Sc. or a Ph.D. in cancer immunology/immunotherapy, and hands-on experience investigating methods to improve the efficacy of CAR and/or TCR therapies in pre-clinical models.
They should have a passion for furthering the science from the bench, and a track record of publications demonstrating success in different projects or institutional environments.
Experience working in matrixed, multidisciplinary teams, especially in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry environment is preferred but not required.
Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate good communication and inter-personal skills such as stakeholder management and team work.
M.Sc. or equivalent in cancer immunology with 2+ years of research experience
Experience in molecular biology techniques, and in the characterization of CAR/TCR primary T cell products and their functions by phenotypic and functional assays including multi-color flow cytometry, ELISAs, multiplex cytokine assays, and cytotoxicity assays
Must be able to work in a matrix team environment to enable optimum delivery of project and department objectives.
Ph.D. or equivalent in cancer immunology with industry experience
