Scientific Advisor - Vaccines- 12 month contract

Your Responsibilities:

Our Vaccines business is one of the largest in the world producing paediatric and adult vaccines for a wide range of infectious diseases. In New Zealand, our vaccines portfolio helps prevent illnesses such as hepatitis, rotavirus, varicella, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, measles, mumps, rubella, pneumococcal disease and influenza.

We are looking for a Scientific Advisor to join our talented, close-knit and supportive NZ vaccines team for a 12 month contract. Reporting into the Medical Affairs Manager you will have a broad range of responsibilities including:

• Providing medical and technical expertise to sales and marketing teams in the production, review and approval of promotional materials
• Making an active contribution to the development and implementation of product strategy for the vaccines portfolio
• Working collaboratively with members of the medical vaccine and brand teams to create high quality tender documents

To be successful in this role
• Experience in a Scientific Advisor or similar role within Medical Affairs with an excellent working knowledge of the Medicines New Zealand code of practice
• Medical writing experience
• A degree in Science, Pharmacy or Pharmacology
• Pharmaceutical industry experience
• Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders
