QC Lead (Bio Technical)

Basic qualifications:

You are required to possess a University degree in a relevant science discipline and have at least 6 years of relevant working experience (includes supervisory experience) in pharmaceutical environment. You need to have competent technical skills in the following:

  • Common laboratory techniques (advantage)
  • laboratory equipment qualification
  • method validation
  • Knowledge of cGLP & cGMP

Preferred qualifications:

  • Preferably with laboratory experience (advantage)
  • Knowledge of computer system validation
  • Effective report writing skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Analytical skills with logical thinking

The Role

As the QC Lead, you will support all the activities in leading and managing the QC Technical Team. You will be expected to drive and perform development / validation / verification and transfer activities and to provide technical expertise and consultation to testing teams on technical matters. Your responsibility will be to ensure the timely implementation of projects with full compliance to corporate, regulatory and external agency regulations. You will manage and implement changes required by testing team; including equipment, material, method introduction and compendial updates. You will also play a critical role as the author / reviewer / approver of required GMP documentation such as SOPs, technical protocols and reports. As the QC Lead, your role will also be to ensure thorough investigation of events and deviations and timely closure of CAPA and participate and support in GMP audits.

As a skilled people leader, your role will be to develop the team, ensuring the required knowledge is embedded and competencies developed, as well as manage effective resourcing and prioritization.
