Project Scheduler - 9 months

Basic qualifications:

Engineer degree, generalist or mechanical

Experience in Industrial engineering contracting

Pharmaceutical preferred, cosmetics, Foods,

Project management and controls

French & English fluent

Preferred qualifications:

Engineer Diploma: mechanical

Minimum 3 years professional experience in Pharmaceuticals, FMCG

Minimum 2 years experience in project management

MS Office and more particularly Excel, MS Project or other scheduling tools


In this role, the associate will have to gather data from

  • 20+ project managers
  • 10+ managers of service
  • 80 projects
  • Yearly Projects scheduled Budget > 40 M £

The knowledge required will allow the associate to fully understand ongoing projects and perform relevant analysis.

This analysis will be used by others for decision making and arbitration between projects.

Under the direction of the Nyon Capital program and PMO lead, the role of the projects scheduler is as follows:

– To structure (Set up and maintain controlling system)

– Schedule templates

– Schedule follow up tools

– Resources linked to schedule tools (resources capacity and resources workload)

– To gather, exchange and formalise

– Schedule information

– Supply data and reporting that allow others to make decision

– To develop/monitor/control

– Schedule and resources reporting

– Projects interactions interfaces milestones

Projects scheduler works with Projects controller and with projects managers to gather all needed information to build a clear holistic view of projects portfolio status/progress/forecasts in schedule and resources workload and eventual resources backfills supply (actual, forecast and trend)

The role will have interactions with:

  • Project managers
  • Managers od services that supply resources
  • Others PMOs
  • Indirectly with Plant SLT during steering committees
  • GMS global representative for PMO tools technical domain and to apply GSK standard and reporting activities through KPI.
