Project Manager Facilities

Basic qualifications:

  • Engineer master degree or equivalent as Architect or similar as Interior Architect
  • At least 8/10 years experience in project management disciplines: project / Maintenance engineering / Maintenance management / Facilities

Preferred qualifications:

  • Good technical knowledge of any building techniques: Main structure, special techniques, finishing
  • Good knowledge of building processes including standards and legal aspects

Details:

Job purpose:

  • Project Manager in the specific area of Facilities

Key Responsabilities:

  • Plans and manages the project delivery process for facilities projects, from scheme to handover
  • This process relates to design, procurement, construction, validation, handover and close-out of any kind of projects linked to the BeSM activities and particularly the facilities ones
  • Drives one or several projects simultaneously with the support of discipline projects (HVAC, electricity, piping, security, finishings, …)
  • Designs the project organization: Management, controls, technologies
  • Controls the projects: prepares and updates the project execution, prepares weekly reports, follows the planning and controls the budget
  • Develops a risk management strategy for each project
  • Defines the overall commissioning, validation and handover organization and implements to ensure a timely and complete handover to the customer
  • Makes final decisions on main issues pertaining to technical matters, in close cooperation with the discipline engineers
  • Collaborates in the management of a team of 3 to 6 discipline engineers
  • Responsible for budgets to 250.000€, by project
