Production Technicians

Basic qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

2 years of Experience in a GMP compliant manufacturing facility

Ability to work in high speed packaging environment

Ability to analyze and correct deficiencies in the operation of high speed packaging equipment

Strong problem solving and reasoning skills.

Demonstrated ability to respond with troubleshooting methods under time and delivery pressure.

Demonstrated ability to maintain control in stressful situations, and perform well under pressure.

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Experience in a GMP compliant manufacturing facility

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds for short distances

Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, this includes diagrams and/or drawings, part numbers

Candidate must be flexible with schedule; being able to work any shift and available for overtime

Preferred qualifications:

1-3 years experience in High-speed packaging environment, and troubleshooting skills.

SAP knowledge/experience a plus

Job Description Summary-

Operate, troubleshoot and maintain high speed packaging equipment in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.

Job Description-

Understand and operate high speed packaging equipment.

Work with Line Lead/Mechanic to ensure efficient operations.

Perform minor settings/parameter changes on equipment and document as needed to achieve target efficiencies.

Provide input of any relevant information to the line lead for the shift handoff checklist to ensure thorough handoff of settings information.

Support site GPS (GSK's Production System) initiatives.

Support continuous improvement ideas and implementation.

Ensure area escalation process is followed.

Trouble shooting of line equipment.

Able to work any shift/day/overtime.
