GSK's mission is to improve the quality of human life by enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer. GSK is headquartered in the UK with operations based in the U.S.

The Future Leaders Program in Procurement is an outstanding opportunity to support the commercial ambitions of GSK and progress your career into senior leadership roles. The two-year rotational program is structured into four, 6-month assignments within separate procurement areas.

Procurement is a pioneering, influencing function; with over 900 members across more than 50 countries we buy goods and services on a global scale. But we do more than just purchase things. We partner with business units to drive value from supplier relationships to support GSK's strategies in all areas of our business.

You will be provided with a solid grounding in Procurement through a variety of challenging roles that will push you to your limits, but will be underpinned by the appropriate levels of support and training. In return we will expect you to deliver, to a high standard, against the challenges and opportunities that are offered to you. You will need to be commercially driven and possess the energy, passion, and positive attitude to succeed and take on real responsibility from day one.

At the end of the program, if you have delivered to the standards that we expect of you, you will have the opportunity to apply for permanent roles within GSK.

Locations:

The structure of the program may require you to work at any GSK site. Typical locations are PA (Philadelphia, King of Prussia). Warren, NJ, and NC (RTP, Durham, Zebulon).

Training and development:

On joining us, individuals go through a departmental, corporate, and procurement specific induction process. Procurement Associates will also participate in the Procurement specific training to learn how they can apply best practice tools and techniques in the development and implementation of an integrated procurement strategy.

Associates will also participate in quarterly developmental planning activities with their line manager throughout the two-year program in order to identify learning requirements. Individuals will be supported by their line manager, the Global Procurement Learning and Development Team and existing associates throughout the program.

We offer a competitive total compensation package as well as an environment conducive to personal and professional growth. GSK is proud to promote an open culture, encouraging people to be themselves and giving their ideas a chance to flourish.
