Knowledge in cGMP and safety (bio-safety) issues and biotechnology equipment.
Proven record of troubleshooting and process control bio-process skills. .
As you will be managing a team of biotechnologists, you should have proven team management, communication and team building skills.
Possessing a Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or relevant discipline
You should have prior experience in supporting and facilitating self-inspections and coordinating for plant pre-audit preparation to ensure audit-readiness.

As the Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of 12 biotechnologists, ensuring execution of production activities in the process facility. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring a robust planning of resources, including people and equipment, to ensure "on time" execution of production activities of the department. You will also manage the facility's activity planning through incorporation of production schedule, validation requirement, calibration, maintenance activities, environmental monitoring to ensure optimal use of equipment and people resources.
You'll be an experienced supervisor, with demonstrated skills in planning, coordinating and monitoring resources to ensure effective utilization of operational staff.
You will determine when a deviation is required and skillfully lead a team from the different functional areas including process, Quality and/or other experts if required to solve and close the deviation in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for performing product impact assessment resulting from unplanned events. You will be required to review, collate, prepare and ensure that documentation related to production function and management, including SAP transactions are completed, up-to-date and relevant to ensure proper control, documentation and reporting to management.
