MRO Regional Category Manager

Your Responsibilities:
To lead the creation, execution and management of comprehensive integrated sourcing strategies for MRO across Europe.

Key responsibilities :

• Responsible for supporting global MRO spend of >£150 million annually across the GSK network, but specifically accountable for a portion of that spend as in agreement with the MRO category lead.
• Execute and lead contract performance and governance.
• Accountable for developing and implementing regional sourcing strategies in-line with global category guidance.
• Support the implementation of critical contracts and the review of annual spend.
• Engagement with stakeholders - working collaboratively with EHS, site and central engineering, and all Supply Chain stakeholders (Rx, Cx & Vx), and the R&D teams to drive buying strategies.
• Coordinate with Site Procurement teams and the Shared Service Hub as defined by the Operating Model.
• Support Value Engineering and Savings Programmes.
• Manage negotiations with strategic suppliers across the category.
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.

Why You?

Basic qualifications:
• Master's Degree (Business Administration/Finance/Marketing)
• 3+ years relevant Procurement experience.
• Experience working in global or multi-regional Pharmaceutical, Consumer Healthcare or FMCG environment.
• Proven negotiations and contract management skills.
• English proficiency (written and oral), other language will be a plus.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management/ influencing and communication skills.

The candidate will need to develop long term strategies and a project pipeline to deliver the financial ambitions of the business, while also managing short term needs (resolving security of supply or performance issues, identifying opportunities to meet short term financial objectives, etc.).
