Manager of Policy, Risk and Compliance

Your Responsibilities:
Lead key deliverables within the policy, risk and compliance agenda across Global Procurement. Provide efficient and effective support to applicable parts of a global colleague base of 700+ for management of policy, risk and compliance. Provide high quality inputs to governance and reporting for the policy, risk and compliance agenda.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead key deliverables within the policy, risk and compliance agenda across Global Procurement, such that:
I) Procurement is effective in identifying and managing risk, quality and governance
II) Global Procurement Leadership has evidence of control in their area
III) Written Standards are simple and effective

This will require:
o Effective collaboration with stakeholders in policy, risk & compliance groups such as Global Ethics & Compliance, Audit & Assurance and Quality
o Coach and mentor Global Procurement employees on GSK expectations for effective control of policy, risk and compliance
o Clarify and educate on Global Procurement role in Enterprise policy, risk and compliance initiatives
o Drive an effective approach to executing against the policy, risk, quality and compliance agenda

• For relevant policy, risk, quality and compliance deliverables, provide efficient and effective execution support to impacted employees across Global Procurement (700+ colleagues across broad global footprint supporting all Business Units and geographies), such that good practice management of policy, risk and compliance is sustainable and embedded across the Global Procurement organization

• Provide high quality input to governance and reporting for the policy, risk and compliance agenda, such that: there is clear accountability for who is managing the risks; leadership understand and fulfill applicable risk reporting requirements; and policy, risk and compliance issues are escalated to an appropriate RMCB or Quality Council

• Lead direct reports (where applicable) and contribute to overall teamwork within the CoE Policy, Risk and Compliance Team, such that the team develops fit for purpose capability and experience to drive delivery of Procurement's policy, risk and compliance agenda


Why You?

Basic qualifications:
• Masters or MBA; Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Risk Management, related field [or any Masters combined with relevant experience]
• 5+ years working in complex global corporate environment
• 2+ years working in procurement, risk management, quality or related field
• Experience of regulated environments or good working knowledge manufacturing quality
• Experience of managing and influencing people directly or indirectly
• It will be essential for the role holder to be able to:
- Influence senior stakeholders and strategies, within and outside own organisational unit
- Motivate colleagues and work in partnership with others to drive, implement and support change
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
