Basic qualifications:

BA / BS Degree level or Compensation, HR or LTI certification

Project Management expertise (in a formally trained manner such as Six-Sigma) or formal Process design experience

Experience in managing matrixed / international resources over complicate project situations (i.e. multiple workstreams of different specialty). Evidence of delivery to deadlines/ effective management of multiple activities with conflicting timelines

Business perspective of GSK or relevant to GSK (i.e. Science/Technology, FMGC) or experience in a Company with multiple business units with at times conflicting requirements

Preferred qualifications:

LTI certification

For role based in the US, preferred to have US securities experience


The Global LTI Services Consultant provides dedicated expertise in a core specialist activity required to plan and deliver global long term incentive programmes. This will include project management or process design capabilities delivered at a global scale with resourcing provided in a matrix environment. This role serves both as a consultant to peers in the Reward CoE, typically Operations & Services, or directly leads project or process initiatives related to long term incentives. In the latter case, core specialist expertise is blended with Reward knowledge to support the integration of the global Reward agenda with regional business requirements. This job typically has multiple incumbents: one consultant may be designated to support team leader with providing guidance and advice to other team members in achievement of their objectives.

  1. Administration and data management of Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTI). Support the administrative and data process owner, in the continuous improvement champion for GSK's 3 principal LTI schemes by delivering an efficient and effective service that meets both business and regulatory requirements. Effectively manage the resolution of all operational issues (escalating where appropriate) that may arise.

  2. As designated, may provide support and guidance to the team managing complex employee queries to ensure quality and compliance of the support and or deliver shared objectives.

  3. Delivers LTI grant, vesting & release processes and controls, and manages vendor Plan administrator processes and communication.

  4. Developing and managing LTI core data and admin processes delivery and data quality together with the team ensuring that Plan rules and policies and controls are implemented in an effective manner.

  5. Manages LTI data and system requirements and controls with internal and external stakeholders, including HR required LTI data.

  6. Manage account reconciliation of globally mobile and localized employees and ensure the tax reconciliation of LTI transactions and annual tax filing activities are completed with GSK tax vendor.

  7. Consultant to internal stakeholders e.g. Local Country Payrolls/ Finance/ Tax / Treasury / Corporate Secretariat / HRIS/ HRIT. Responsible for diagnosing and understanding operational requests / issues and delivering appropriate solutions in compliance with LTI Plan rules and multiple regulatory frameworks. US Securities Law knowledge /experience preferred.

  8. Support Manager, LTI Services in delivering Operations resourcing requirements to ensure effective short-/mid-/and long-term resource planning and execution of LTI Services delivery.

  9. Partner with HR Global Compensation Operations to ensure clear ongoing partnership through system upgrades and transition of vendor management.

  10. Incorporate key metrics and outcome-based approach to Operations deliverables; partner with Business Measures and Programme Excellence to ensure consistency across Reward.

  11. Build capabilities within the Reward CoE (and Regional/LOC staff) in areas of project management/process design expertise and network with internal GSK and external for ongoing development.
