As a member of this team YOU can react to incidents identified by monitoring or customers, install, configure, upgrade and retire operating system and perform troubleshooting to identify and eliminate (or mitigate) root causes o of incidents

This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

Manage requests from users and customers (eg. file share administration, server upgrades/relocations).

Maintain server currency (e.g. patching, firmware/drivers upgrades). Partner with release team during patching session on troubleshooting problems.

Handle incidents and requests in accordance to Service Level Aagreement.

Communicate with vendors to resolve incidents and preform root cause analysis. Able to provide details such as memory dumps and log files.

Continuously improving service by cooperating with senior team members on improvements.

Create and Implement Change Requests (e.g. server relocation/migration, DHCP migrations, coordination of site shutdown, VM DRS cluster configuration ) according to procedures.

Join any SWAT calls with customers, stakeholders and other teams to perform troubleshooting.

Suggest documentation (SOP, LIN and TIP) updates based on experiance.

We are looking for people/professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/systems/Computer Science.
  • 2 year experience in managing the Windows Server or Vmware vritualization infrastructure.
  • Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
  • A team player able to work accross boundaries with colleagues and vendors from different countries and cultures.
  • Able to work indepedently, self motivated and proactive.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends.
  • Solid knowledge of MS windows 2008/2012 and Vmware ESX 6.x . MCSA/MCSE/VCP Certification is advantage.
  • Elementary understanding of power shell scripts.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • ADP or Lean Management skills are advantage.
