Basic qualifications:

  • 4 year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
  • Licensed RN, NP
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years clinical experience preferred
  • Immunology / Rheumatology experience preferred
  • Sales experience appreciated but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks / planning/organization
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

The purpose of the Immunology Nurse Educator is to educate HCPs and staff to ensure the appropriate and compliant use of commercialized products promoted within the Immunology and Rare Disease business unit.

This roles works in conjunction with Sales to support and deliver educational programs/clinics with the required clinical support with the product to favor initiation of treatment and sustainability on treatment.

The Nurse Educator is responsible for ensuring effective implementation of treatment guidelines through work with general practice teams and other key people to improve patient care. These roles are not involved in the selling of GSK products.

This role will have broad commercial remit, covering sales and marketing (including Commercial Directors, Commercial Business Unit Leads). Responsible for promoting and supporting the organisation’s products.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of Immunology Nurse Educator training program focused on scientific knowledge, customer discovery, healthcare environment, customer engagement and other related policy and procedures of employment at GSK.
  • Meet or exceed established expectations for account / call activity and time in territory.
  • Proactively decide on activities, educational programs as well as HQ-approved resources needed to effectively pull through the identified sales opportunities with targeted customers and other key stakeholders in territory/accounts.
  • Create customer value, demand and advocacy for GSK brands.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision makers in account to execute business unit/brand strategy.
  • Utilize internal GSK stakeholders/matrix partners to educate customers and build relationships.
  • Perform all required duties related to entering daily activity into the customer relationship manager (CRM) tool, expense reporting, and other reporting as directed by management.
