IBL - IT Associate (Abbotsford)

As the IT Associate you will work with the IT Business Partner Cluster Head to develop and put in place plans to implement, maintain, and support major computer systems for the Pharma and Commercial Business Unit in Australia and New Zealand.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work with business local leaders to implement technology critical to future business plans, and enables the opportunity to work with IT leaders across the globe.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare documentation (Compliance Determinations and Business Requirements) in accordance with the IT Quality Management System.
  • Work with key stakeholders and Front Office/Back office Demand Leads to prepare project gate approval stages.
  • Work with project managers across all IT departments to compile the weekly Project Portfolio Status Update for the GSK Executive team and international stakeholders.
  • Attend the monthly IT Steering Committee and record key decisions and actions.
  • Manage the Project Resource Forecast and Master Portfolio Schedule.

What we are looking for in a candidate?

  • You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelors Degree in Business Information Technology
  • An interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry is favourable
