IBL – Human Resources Associate (Abbotsford) – 2 Roles

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to many facets of Human Resources across all areas of our business. You will work in a supportive team environment with talented and hardworking individuals who also enjoy themselves at work. We are passionate about providing great support to all employees and leaders in our business. Working within HR Employee Services team, (which is made up of the HR Response Centre, Total Reward and Payroll) your responsibilities will vary and will include providing advice and guidance to employees and managers, general HR administration and interesting project work, in areas such as:

  • Providing advice and guidance to GSK employees, managers and other members of HR
  • Updating and maintaining HR documentation and the HR intranet site
  • Co-ordination of HR information sessions & benefit programs with 3rd party suppliers
  • Assist with HR Communications and promotion of employee benefits
  • Participate in HR projects
  • Maintain employee data in the HR System
  • Preparation of HR reports and data analysis
  • Support the HR Teams with HR processes such as New Starter Induction Program, Reward & Recognition Program and Merit Review processes as required
  • Other general Admin (processing team invoices, assistance with room bookings etc)

What we're looking for in a candidate

  • You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor Degree in HR/Commerce or a related field
  • An interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Initiative and an eagerness to learn
  • Customer focus
  • High attention to detail, rigor and process
  • Excellent project management, to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
