IBL – Digital Content Associate (Auckland)

The content associate will work with the Digital Project Manager to deliver key digital initiatives for the GSK NZ pharmaceutical business and assist with content generation across all online channels.

You will learn the importance of content marketing and why it is an essential part of marketing roles today. Your focus will be on creating seamless and personalised customer experiences when using health.gsk, receiving emails, attending webinars and visiting other GSK consumer websites or online activities.

In this role, you will;

  • Support the publishing of content, working hand in hand with our design centre
  • Build hands on experience with our Content Management Systems (Adobe CQ5, Umbraco)
  • Build skills in online layout principles to create content, user experience, online image and video formats
  • Work closely with our marketing teams to deliver content strategies
  • Review brand content across all online channels, ensuring content continues to be relevant and up-to-date and is functioning correctly

Additionally, in this role you will be exposed to;

  • How to promote content online (SEM) and how to optimize content (SEO) by using keywords and meta tagging in content creation
  • How to use content analytics, by working with the Adobe analytics team

What we're looking for in a candidate?

  • You must be in your ultimate year of a Bachelor of Business/ Communications/ Information Technology
  • An interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry is favourable

  • Excellent project management, in order to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
