Corporate Affairs Associate – Pharmaceuticals

This exciting role will see you provide support to the Corporate Affairs team on key strategic projects across internal, external and digital communications and support the grants and donations process. You will:

  • Assist with strategic projects as directed by the Director of Corporate Affairs

o PR to support commercial objectives

o Employee engagement

o Communications to support corporate brand

  • Develop and implement strategies for GSK Australia's social media tools
  • Support with various external GSK events, as directed and supported by Corporate Affairs
  • Develop strategy and implement for GSK Australia intranet
  • Support community projects and grants and donations

Corporate Affairs Associate – ViiV Healthcare

ViiV Healthcare is 100% dedicated to HIV – our mission is to leave no patient behind and our commitment goes beyond the provision of medicines.

This role will help support the ViiV Healthcare Policy, Community and Advocacy team in the field of Corporate Affairs and communications. This is a unique role to work across a broad range of policy, clinical and corporate issues to help improve the lives of people living with HIV.

What we're looking for in a candidate

  • You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelors Degree in Communications, Business/Commerce, Politics or a related field
  • An interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry is favourable
  • Strong passion and interest in the placement field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail, rigor and process
  • Excellent project management, to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn (quickly)
  • Teamwork, ability to build and maintain relationships
