Your Responsibilities:
If you're a passionate In-Vivo Bio Imaging professional with a Magnetic Resonance specialization, put your
Ph.D at work for GSK.
You will manage and develop In Vivo Bioimaging employees( performance management, technical & leadership development & succession planning) in the development and qualification of novel in vivo imaging capability within GSK supporting model selection, biodistribution and functional alterations to biology.
You will be responsible for the delivery of in vivo preclinical imaging needs within GSK.
You will proactively introduce and develop emerging technologies to track small/large molecule and cellular biodistribution (e.g. "click" chemistry), optical reporter labeling and newer, developing technologies (e.g. hyperpolarization)
You will perform in vivo imaging studies to support the needs of Discovery and Preclinical business partners ranging from drug design through safety evaluation to product/device development.
Provide imaging guidance/solutions and collaborate closely with the wider Bioimaging department.
Responsible for: study support and data generation/management and communication to project/program teams; protocol writing and oversight of the animal imaging protocols; maintaining the MR, CT & optical imaging equipment within the in vivo imaging facility and implementing and maintaining service contracts with imaging vendors.
You will also be accountable for assuring high standards of animal care and compliance with all UK regulations and GSK policies.

Why You?

Basic qualifications:
Ph.D. with postdoctoral and/or industrial imaging experience.
Demonstrated experience in protocol writing and oversight of the animal imaging protocols.
Experience with in vivo preclinical imaging.
Demonstrated experience with introducing emerging technologies to track small/large molecule and cellular biodistribution, optical reporter labeling and newer, developing technologies (e.g. hyperpolarization)
Supervisory and managerial experiences with demonstrated leadership capability in laboratory environment with people development and performance management skills.

Preferred qualifications:
Development and qualification of novel in vivo imaging supporting pre clinical model selection, biodistribution and functional alterations to biology.
