Basic qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or other professional Marketing qualification.

Extensive Brand Marketing experience.

Strong experience in marketing/sales at the manager level

Brand management experience including:

Contributions to the strategic planning process

Proven track record of driving brand growth at a market level

Track record of executing innovation projects

Demonstrated ability to execute against powerful insights that drive growth

Proven delivery of flawless launches

Demonstrated ability to implement consistent brand assets across markets and through all consumer touch points

Extensive consumer communication development

The ability to harness the shopper-consumer-expert relationship

Proven P&L/budget management, complex project management, business development,

Deep understanding of media and the digital space

Preferred qualifications:

MBA Desired

5+ years of experience in Brand Marketing.

Previous Marketing experience in Healthcare or CPG industries.

Ability to lead within a matrix organization, integrating complex multifunctional efforts crossing multiple business areas

Experience in achieving business growth in complex regulatory environments

Science based marketing experience

Strong presentation and communication skills

Awareness/experience of working above country in a regional or global role.

The ability to build strong relationships and work across boundaries

Superb influencing and stakeholder management skills

The drive of a self starter and comfort with working independently, remote from the Line Manager.

Position Overview:

The Global Marketing Manager, Dry Mouth will be part of the Global Dry Mouth Marketing team. While the wider team is located in the UK, this role will be implanted into the US business to work alongside the local brand team to maximize synergies and opportunities for growth between global and local functions. It requires cross-functional working to deliver global strategy, innovation and activation toolkits, and working collaboratively with the US local market to implement. The candidate will need to have extensive experience in managing within competitive & complex categories. Some travel between the UK and US should be expected.

Key Job Functions:

Executing against the global vision and strategy for Biotene within the context of the wider sub-category territory.

Responsible for executing against global marketing initiatives to drive business growth including retail facing category vision and strategy, innovation (strategy & projects), consumer connections, path to purchase strategies, insight development & deployment, brand positioning, brand assets, pricing strategy, P&L management, value chain/COG's management, expansion strategy, and transferring best practice.

Operating at a category and brand level:

Support the creation of vision and strategy at the sub-category level in order to better lead the market (our customers).

Develop global brand toolkits with collaboration with the North America market covering all consumer touch points (pack, on shelf, digital, media etc.) for use across geographies

Execute innovation projects and co-ordination on communications with category functions (e.g. R&D, project management) as per the global innovation strategy

Joint responsibility for P&L, GMI projects and Category Process Improvements

Support value chain projects with increased impact on sub-category COG and COG life-cycles

Develop plans for process improvements to support the NA located category team including best practices for leveraging available administrative resources
