Global Category Manager, Managed Care Markets
To lead the development and delivery of the Managed Care category strategy. This is a new category which was previously unaddressed. The GCM will primarily look at the Managed Care spend in the US which would support a key pillar of our market access strategy in the US. In addition, this role would help support other patient support programmes across other markets in GSK.
Key Position Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of the Managed Care global sourcing strategy
• Manage the sourcing and negotiations with suppliers across the category
• Ensure delivery of quality solutions and services to increasing budget pressures
• Work closely with Managed Care & Market Access teams in key markets to understand the different spend areas and develop procurement sourcing strategies for each of these areas.
• Perform risk management for the Managed Care category
• Develop and deliver a performance management framework for the category
• Develop category visibility through effective spend analytics
Bachelor Degree in Related Field.
5 years of experience in Procurement, Global Sourcing
Relevant experience in procurement
Proven negotiations and contract management skills.
Master's Degree Business
English proficiency (written and oral), other language will be a plus
