First line sales Manager/Salgssjef

Your Responsibilities:
This is a field worker position (North-West Region), not based in any particular city/town.

To drive performance in your region (North-West Norway) by leading a GP field sales team of seven Medical Representatives to meet territory business objectives and establish GSK as the customer's key partner and advisor. This will be achieved through inspirational leadership, motivational coaching, and the development of the team's scientific knowledge, business planning and selling capabilities.
Coach the field sales team to continuously develop sales competencies, implement GSK multi-channel brand strategies and use comprehensive scientific knowledge to support and build credibility with customers.
Use multiple data sources to analyze area performance dynamics, identify area trends and opportunities, and to develop multi-channel area business plans. Ensure implementation of business plans, using KPIs to track performance and support the field sales team.

Drive development of selling skills in the Norwegian sales organization through coaching, co-drives and planning and implementing national/regional sales trainings.

Ensure tailored development plans that build the capabilities and the effectiveness of the field sales team. Lead appropriate performance management discussions and actively drive the recruitment of medical representatives.

Collaborate closely with Therapy Area Lead and First Line Sales Lead East Norway to drive portfolio performance. Ensure cross-functional collaboration.

Promote an open, honest, transparent and result oriented working environment and culture that delivers on commitments.

This position is mainly field based. Frequent travel in the North-Western part of Norway is required. You are preferably based in Bergen or Trondheim but other locations may be considered.
