First Line Leader (Filling & Packing)

Your Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a team of Site Technical Process Engineers & Product Owners sub-function Team and manage their performance through coaching, performance measurement, feedback and training needs analysis, focusing on developing expertise and teamwork to maximize motivation and engagement
- To develop and enable a first touch team of operators to consistently deliver outstanding safety, quality service and value to the person at the end of our supply chain
- The role has a direct hour by hour impact on the ambition of the GMS Strategy to achieve the three zeros on Accidents, Defects and Waste
- Ensure that the business strategy is delivered through an engaged, motivated and capable team of staff
- Managing the other departments in terms of critical decisions or occasions
- Leading and coaching of teams on shift to ensure adherence to standards for safety, quality, compliance and output
- Assign the people to production lines based on their knowledge and experience
- Active communication with relevant colleagues to ensure smooth production process within homogenous environment
- Execute other tasks according to directions of supervisor in frame of agreed job
- Attend required trainings and complete assessments to ensure competency in the Quality Management System documents, EHS documents and Operating Procedures and on the job trainings relevant to job role
