Expert Sales-Customer Activation Manager

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a marketing, business, or healthcare-related discipline.

Extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or healthcare sales.

Understanding of healthcare professionals and communication processes in various public and private healthcare settings and their influence on the healthcare consumer.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work with diverse customer need states.

Competency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to Travel 20-30% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

5+ years of healthcare sales and/or marketing experience within the healthcare environment.

Prior experience planning, launching, and sustaining OTC or pharmaceutical product marketing campaigns that drive awareness and engagement.

Experience creating sales presentations and accompanying marketing materials with internal brand and compliance approval.

Experience utilizing market insights to develop a customized vision and strategy that delivers brand and category growth.

Development of strategic business plans that generate growth and alignment.

Ability to work with customers to establish and accomplish mutual strategic objectives.

Thorough understanding of key influencers within U.S. Healthcare systems. These include and are not limited to: MCOs, Hospital systems, Employers, Retail Clinics, Wellness Providers, EAPs, Correctional facilities, Military systems, and Group Purchasing organizations.

Demonstrated budget and project management skills.

New product launch experience.

Job Functions:

Lead the creation of Healthcare Solutions customer engagement and adherence programs that differentiate GSK contracted brands versus generic competition.

Develop marketing and promotion materials that complement the engagement and adherence programs in which GSK Consumer Healthcare products are used.

Joint planning and consultation with HCS Customers to identify key engagement materials required to meet and exceed customers expected outcomes.

Work closely with Brand and Expert Marketing teams to identify and align on key messages and materials that will drive patient engagement across HCS opportunities.

Measure the impact of marketing programs and materials with a clear connection to product sales growth.

Stay current with health benefit trends and establish an external wellness industry network.

Own the Copy Review Committee (CRC) process for material approvals and compliance requirements.

Joint business planning with HCS Team to identify and forecast engagement impact on business growth.

Capture customer feedback for future opportunities in alignment with GSK business objectives and values.

Act as an internal expert and enabler of change within defined market areas. Manage and assess activation programs to quickly identify opportunities to improve GSK and customer outcomes.

Responsible for managing and prioritizing GSK internal objectives with a significant number of competing customer opportunities and workflows.
