Basic qualifications:

You will be MBA qualified or Masters in Finance (or on your journey towards obtaining these qualifications during 2018). You may have a dynamic and varied career experience within an Industry setting which highlights your already accelerated career to date. You will have a passion for Finance with a strong interest to enhance your career further within the Healthcare Industry. You will have demonstrated excellent communication skills and a flexible mindset to forge your career in a global matrix organisation. A key focus will be to further enrich your impact through leadership, innovation and decision making capabilities. You will be tenacious, accountable and an innovative thinker so to shape change within our high paced and adaptable Finance Global Support Function.

What is the Esprit Finance Leadership Programme?

The Esprit Programme is GlaxoSmithKline's leading global talent development programme for MBA or Masters in Finance qualified candidates which builds a pipeline of diverse leaders, with the right capabilities and behaviours to drive GSK's future strategic challenges. You'll bring with you a wealth of knowledge and will recognize that there's still plenty for you to learn and experience to become an extraordinary leader.

The Esprit Finance Leadership programmes overall goal is to support, stretch, develop and deliver leaders of the future. You will build your breadth of experience and leadership capabilities through this accelerated development programme.

How does the Esprit Finance Leadership programme work?

You will spend 3-4 years on a fast track development programme, working your way towards a potential Senior Finance leadership role.

Beginning in your home country, you will have 3 rotations, which may include international experience.

Through challenging rotations, you will gain in-depth finance knowledge across a range of disciplines, including Commercial Finance Partnering, Finance Business Development, Finance Services, Business Transformation and Corporate Finance Partnering. Throughout the Esprit Finance programme, you will cultivate a broad global business perspective, and nurture your existing Finance experience and knowledge. Every step of the way we'll provide you with intensive development, training and support to help you to achieve your greatest potential.
