Demand Planner Analyst

The Role:
An opportunity is available at our Ermington site for a Demand Planner Analyst. This role is pivotal in co-ordinating GSK supply chain and sales teams to secure a perfect launch and then to subsequently monitor performance against forecast to ensure that our service is maintained and our costs are optimised. You will lead the collaborative forecasting and planning process for a single business category across all the customers. Analyse sales performance against budget and provides the Sales Account Manager with insights to support business investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities include:
•Build a collaborative sales forecast ensuring all the parties related are involved in the process.
•Weekly updates of KPI's and dashboard to drive action plans and continuous improvement.
•Deliver accurate sales forecast over 24 months rolling
•Identify, interpret and articulate statistical forecast trends; ensure data and trend analysis skills are well developed and understood within the Demand Planning team
•Proactively identify and escalate demand plan risks and opportunities
•Build the Demand Planning dashboard and monitor performance
•Identify and drive opportunities to reduce supply chain volatility and optimise costs across the end to end supply chain

About you:
You will have a Bachelor degree in logistics, economics, engineering or business administration with an extensive experience within a FMCG organisation. You will possess excellent skills in building internal and external relationships and can problem solve.

Skills & Experience:

•During your previous job experience you developed a well-grounded knowledge in supply chain related disciplines, logistics, supply chain management, demand management or operational management
•Advanced computer skills, excellent with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
•Great analytics
•Advanced computer skills, excellent with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
•Deep SAP/CERPs knowledge
•Ability to work independently and proactively
•Good communication skills
•You possess excellent skills in building internal and external relationships
•The rapidly changing nature of the business and the dynamic market conditions will require a high degree of flexibility and adaptability and the ability to work calmly under pressure
