Compentency Development Training Manager

Basic qualifications:

At least 5 years of professional experience. Strong experience in GIO Vx.

At least 2 years of proven experience of individual responsibility in developing, managing and delivering projects/programs/governance models.

The role requires a certain level of experience within the organization, coping with various environments, having strong interpersonal and communication skills and being willing to share knowledge with junior/less experienced people and capable of driving mindset change.

Line management experience is a plus

Preferred qualifications:

Able to map operational processes, define the key activities of a process and identify different capability levels related to an activity, define training needs to build knowledge and capability.

Must have a relevant experience in quality and risk management, compliance, quality assurance, regulations/SOP standards, and change control management, and written standard training

  • Excellent knowledge of cGxP requirements

Given the nature of the job and accountabilities, process knowledge is a must to be able to challenge and identify risks and key required competencies.

Job Purpose:

Ensure trainings are fit-for-purpose and efficiently deployed and managed within the MPU/SPU by: - Define Technical Learning needs: assess training plans to identify common requirements, recommending core curriculum by role and level based on priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage training matrix/Curricula

Map MPU/SPU processes to identify the different activities and define needed competencies for each role.

Develop Competency Matrix for critical processes to establish learning/training development requirements to positively impact business performance

Develop and maintain high standards of skills and capabilities within the SPU/MPU to meet business objectives and drive performance. Ensure training requirements are known at an individual level. Ensures transversal alignment and oversees implementation in assigned group

Work in collaboration with project team to build synergies for training and learning opportunities. –

Work with Heads of KM and Training to provide them information to help establish the MPU training Strategy and priorities.

Work the proper experts GL&D & MPU/SPU to define training package content and ensure alignment to competency to be developed

Monitor training matrix effectiveness via key metrics and propose improvement (structure, training) Align/Share Good Practices within the network and business - Ensure defined training are implemented using 70-20-10 with trainers identified and qualified, frequency adapted to the business needs, assuring uniformity/best practice implementation of Training and Knowledge management processes via the network of competency managers
