Source of strategic expertise for LT, Shopper Activation Managers, Sales and Brand owners in terms of market trends, channels and players for all GSK product categories
Responsible for in-depth category and shopper research and insights in order to provide business with full understanding of shopper behavior and trends
Ensuring competitive and profitable approach towards promotional activities.
Supporting Brand Managers in price positioning projects (NPD's, regular products) based on market trends and competitive situation
Ensuring that maximum potential of product portfolio is used through recommendation of assortment by distribution channels
Co-creating strategic partnership with KA through: recommendation of category building promotional strategies, category (shelf space) projects, engagement in strategic meetings (e.g. T-2-T)
Defining gaps & opportunities and creating recommendation to Brand owners, Shopper Activation Managers, Sales and developing solution based presentations to target those opportunities
Cooperation with internal departments (eg. Sales, Marketing, Finance, Research) and external entities (eg. consumption data, leaflet data, shopper research)
Providing category input and recos to annual brand and shopper planning (sources of growth, market trends)
Development of Shopper Activation Managers in terms of category management know-how
- Close cooperation with Sales Analysts / Business Development Analysts.
