Our Procurement team has more than 900 members across 50 countries where we actively manage £13bn of GSK's spend per annum across both direct and indirect categories. Our Team influences the company's entire third-party expenditure, partnering with business units and driving value from supplier relationships to support GSK's strategies and targets.

We currently have an opportunity for a Procurement professional to join our high-profile

Financial Business Services (FBS) category. This is a key role in a complex, regulated and quickly evolving environment, that mainly covers GSK's engagements with the "Big 4" accounting and consulting firms as well as engagements with second tier suppliers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategy;
  • Develop and nurture internal stakeholder; relationship and build knowledge of the category key players;
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers;
  • Negotiate contracts and engagements;
  • Deliver savings and value for GSK while minimizing risks;
  • Ensure effective communication with Procurement peers all globally to monitor implementation of contracts;
  • Monitor Supplier performance and propose continuous improvement and innovations for the category;

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • procurement experience;
  • ideally some knowledge of Professional Services environment;
  • High levels of drive and motivation
