ArtWork Manager, SEA
We are currently recruiting for an Artwork Manager under our Consumer Healthcare Business Unit. This role is responsible to manage and lead all stages of packaging artwork changes or new product introduction artwork process in South East Asia markets.
Accountable for the timely progression of all artwork changes, from briefing to file delivery at printers.
Ensure all artwork is progressed in compliance with local procedures.
Act as the central point of contact for all packaging artwork activity, including liaising with other regions if using shared materials and/or suppliers.
Conduct supply chain impact assessment as part of change request process, considering all factors that affect the consumer, supply chain and overall business.
Coordinate the resolution of all technical queries from design, printers, marketing, medical, regulatory team and supply chain.
Identify performance trends and issues, implementing initiatives that will improve speed of delivery to market, version control (right first time) and quality.
Help shape local processes and procedures to achieve quality and best practice artwork management that meets the commercial needs of the business.
Train, develop and support marketing and regulatory teams in the use of the artwork management systems. Ensure all users are aware of their responsibilities and the importance of correct packaging artwork.
Manage day-to-day artwork performance through tracking, KPI's and metrics management. Report to the key stakeholders regularly on KPI's, highlighting issues as they arise.
Facilitate and contribute in cross functional artwork brief meetings
Degree in Graphics Design, Packaging or equivalent
More than 4 years working experience, which includes 2+ years project management experience.
Experienced in FMCG or Pharmaceuticals/Medical Devices/Healthcare industry in the areas of Customer Service and Project Management is preferred
Experience in a planning function applicable to FMCG or Pharmaceuticals/Medical Devices/Healthcare.
Takes proactive initiative to self-lead and work remotely (report to Line Manager based in Singapore)
Knowledge of FMCG environment
Understanding of artwork-related aspects of planning, graphic design, materials, forming and finishing processes, suppliers, specifications and documentation (incl. BOM's), and the overall artwork process.
Effective communication through written and spoken English.
Problem solving and issue resolution.
