As an account manager, you demonstrate a strong patient- focused professional and ethical behavior as you strive to build strong customer relations with the Health care professionals in Singapore. In this role, you will build the sales for GSK's new product franchise, provide an above and beyond customer service experience and use your strong analytical skills to manage your territory for the specified therapy area.
The Role Requirements
Key accountability in this role will be around patient focused conversations with health care professionals and providing the best customer service experience. You will need to engage with the health care professionals via in person visits and represent GSK to develop your business. The knowledge and skills you have gained from your training and peers will allow you to build strong customer relationships. This includes arranging and delivering product presentations and effectively resolving any inquires that arise from your clients. You will need to effectively be able to discuss patient profiles and incorporate patient focused selling approaches to day-to-day selling activities.
In addition, you will manage your territory and build GSK's new products Franchise in the medical institutions located in any officially assigned territory within Singapore. You will plan and organize monthly / daily schedule to achieve coverage of the stipulated calls by channel of business and continuously identify and profile key target customers and prioritize accordingly. Also, you will regularly carry out promotional activities in line with company's marketing efforts in full compliance with the GSKs HCP engagement policies.
The account managers are GSK's field force and exceptional performance can lead to careers within commercial roles or beyond. With this role GSK offers an opportunity to broaden your knowledge about a key function within the organization with hands on training and exceptional team support.
To be successful in this role, previous experience in medical sales is required and an academic background in science is preferred so you can learn and respond to questions relating to the science behind our products. With 3-4 years of experience in sales you are equipped to handle product presentations and effectively communicate and apply your skills and knowledge to challenging situations. You have a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and possess above par stakeholder engagement skills. To be mobile within Singapore, a valid driver's license is a must along with access to a personal vehicle.
