The NPI team is responsible for leading introduction of new product and technology into the supply chain and industrializing products for stable operations within the supply chain. The team partners with engineering, services, product management, sourcing, and manufacturing to drive one strategy and vision for new product introduction, and advanced technology execution.

  • Serve as Advance Manufacturing Engineer in a cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, and suppliers to industrialize product and improve manufacturability of product.
  • Partner with suppliers for investment castings to understand yield, quality issues, and producibility challenges and resolve problems.
  • Serve as a critical stakeholder of large, complex programs with significant impact to the business.
  • Demonstrate ownership of specific process/products and collaborate to ensure that programs are successful
  • Develop and execute plans to qualify internal manufacturing operations and/or external suppliers in order to meet new product introduction fulfillment & quality goals
  • Utilize New Product Introduction tollgate process to ensure that new programs and upgrades are implemented effectively
  • Partner with Design Engineering to ensure producible and cost effective concepts early in the New Product Introduction process
  • Evaluate new product needs and develop advanced technology roadmaps including technology solutions, P/E investment, and overall technology strategy
  • Ensure design changes are validated, risks are quantified, and cost impacts have been assessed prior to implementation
  • Develop tooling, machining and/or assembly procedures that will be used for all production products.
  • Responsible for on time and on budget manufacturing and assembly of initial NPI units
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to optimize cost competitiveness, quality excellence, and cycle time leadership across the full product supply chain
  • Serve as a technical process expert for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issues
  • Perform related duties as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
  • For roles within the USA: 8+ years of engineering/manufacturing/sourcing experience & minimum 4 years of experience in the investment casting industry.
  • For roles outside of the USA: significant work experience within engineering/manufacturing/sourcing & strong work experience in the investment casting industry.

  • Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training

The base pay range for this position is $103K-$140K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
