Job Description Summary

The AIS Configurator and Data lead will provide global management and support on Configurator systems used for AIS product tendering and engineering, as well as driving central initiatives on data structuring. Configuration systems are playing a central role in our tendering and engineering team, as AIS products are 100% configure to order and are used today for technical offer definition as well as engineering product definition for manufacturing.

As for any company organized around data driven system, data structure and quality is playing a more and more important role. AI, robotics and automation projects rely on data quality to bring its full potential. The AIS Configurator and Data Lead will bring their expertise to the different communities (R&D, Tendering, Engineering) from a system structuring and usage standpoint. Additionally, the AIS Configurator and Data Lead will ensure system and data standardization across the organization, hence supporting the AI and R&A initiatives.

The AIS Configurator and Data Lead will work closely with R&D and engineering process leaders to ensure systems and process alignment, as well as with experts of other businesses within the Grid Solution organization, while contributing in the Grid Technology function, both in content and reporting.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Technical

  • Set up, deploy and sustain identified core model systems, in line with BL strategy and regional needs. These projects will ensure to have shared best practices and right functionalities available to the different communities, helping to sustain the business growth.
  • Organize in a central structured way the data aligning with the global data strategy. This will give AI and R&A leaders the support required to roll-out their initiatives, as well as providing a central base for all data related topics (DPP, LCA, ...)
  • Work closely with DT (Digital Technology) organization in order to keep up with the latest technologies and propose initiatives whenever added value potential for the business is identified.
  • Unit key-user animation and coaching and coordination with business leaders (R&D, Engineering, Tendering) to identify required trainings. This to have a performant key-user network.
  • Unit key-user support and coaching to solve configurator programming issues or support implementation of new products (NPI) in order to ensure common best practices are used.
  • Central point of contact within the BL for support to the users, documentation maintenance and data quality. This will ensure to maximize the tool benefits for each users.
  • Work closely with business leaders (R&D, Engineering, Tendering, AI, R&A) to keep alignment between process and tools.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Engineering
  • Strong understanding of PT products and at least 10 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of business processes where the tools are embedded

Desired Experience:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Leadership to pursue complex projects in an environment of a complex set of variables
  • Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Considered an expert in AIS products configuration systems discipline
  • SQL knowledge

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $111,200.00 and $185,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
