Who You Are:
You have at least one year’s experience in affiliate marketing and are keen to learn more about the channel from an advertiser perspective. You understand the basics of the channel, but thrive in situations where you are encouraged to use your initiative. You are a strong team player with excellent organisation skills, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver under pressure. Building a rapport with new people is something you enjoy, and you are comfortable in leading conversations where necessary. You have the curiosity to think beyond the affiliate channel, and are eager to learn more from a multi-channel team.
Your Next Challenge:
As an affiliate specialist you will work with the Global Manager in executing the affiliate strategy for iStock and Getty Images across a number of countries. You will proactively assist in growing and managing the affiliate database, using your research and communication skills to engage with and recruit relevant affiliates and strive to negotiate the best deals. You’ll be working in a fast paced and varied environment, engaging with multiple affiliates and effectively planning programs which provide exposure for the iStock and Getty Images brands. You will be skilled at project management and analysis and will keep an eye on the competitors by monitoring their strategies to ensure iStock and Getty remain competitive. You’ll be a good communicator and will be well versed at providing feedback to the manager on where improvements can be made. You will liaise with the affiliate agency to conduct regular audits of the affiliate platform e.g. banners, text links, offers and ensure tools are regularly updated and optimised. You’ll use data to plan the best approach in each market on a monthly basis and work collaboratively with the manager to implement those plans.
What You’ll Need:
- 1+ years of experience directly related to management of affiliate and/or partnership programs for an e-commerce company
- Some experience in negotiating and planning across multiple affiliates
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft products; Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong grasp of analytical, reporting/excel skills inc Pivot table work
- Good communication and writing skills, proficient in written and spoken English
- High attention to detail
- Strong people skills
- Ability to support management across multiple accounts, priorities and targets in multiple markets and languages
- Ability to use web analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics a plus
- Photoshop skills are a plus
- Wordpress skills are a plus
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and support collaboration across channels/departments
