Telco Business Analyst - Contractor

Summary:

Genesys CTO Operations is currently seeking a motivated, driven, self-starter for the newly created role of Telco Business Analyst. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and work on developing a Telco business management system for a rapidly growing Cloud company. The ideal candidate for this role will possess an analytic mind, excellent communication skills and a passion for customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Help the Cloud OPS team optimizing the Telco services costs for the customer cloud environments
  • Analyze cost, usage, performance and availability data for Genesys cloud customers
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate cost accounting for all cloud Telco investments
  • Initiating, administering, reconciliation and tracking of Telco usage and monthly recurring costs from 3rd party providers
  • Propose, document and implement business processes related to inventory control and cost reconciliation

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Prior work experience with Telco Audits or Cloud telco resale, or wholesale telco services
  • Working knowledge of Telco industry services and terms (lingo)
  • Grasp on finance and data analytics
  • Understanding of financial and business processes
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Background in finance or data analytics is a plus
  • Business intelligence and project management skills
  • Undergraduate degree or master’s in IT or Finance, CS degree with MBA is also acceptable
