Genesys is hiring a Product Marketing Manager who thrives on taking the complex and making it meaningful, visceral, understandable, and personal. World-class marketing and storytelling experience. You have strong track record in marketing, brand management, communications and storytelling. You understand that marketing ultimately is about creating meaningful connection that drives action. You know how digital marketing and the use video can create change. You have extensive experience with new (emphasis!) and traditional marketing content and believe that marketing is part art and part science (aka, data to better understand the efficacy of your work).
Demonstrated capacity to develop, refine and transmit the Genesys message to key stakeholders—our Peers, Prospects, Customers, Partners, Analysts, and our community around the world. You are skilled in taking new, unknown and/or complex products, and transforming them into compelling "human speak" that boils it down to its essence. Better yet, you can convert the message into compelling stories that move our stakeholders to action thru well executed content and marketing campaigns.
Exceptional writing and communications skills. You must be a strong writer who is comfortable managing and representing the multiple voices of Genesys. You enjoy creating compelling, persuasive presentations and are a rockstar in delivering them too.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Own and drive strategic marketing initiatives
- Act as storyteller and evangelist
- Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates us in the market
- Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process
- Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Market intelligence – be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them.
- Creation of original go-to-market content that successfully elevates the Genesys brand
- Contribute to creation of Customer Success stories
- 5 years of marketing experience with experience in a sales or sales support role
- Bachelor's in business, communications, marketing or equivalent
- Very strong written communication skills as well as strong verbal presentation skills
- Willing to travel 25%
- Can excel in a fun, ever-changing work environment
