Mid Market Sales Account Executive

We have an exciting opportunity to joinour salesforce as a Mid Market Account Executive, new business hunter, sellingour PureCloud contact centre solutions, based from Frimley.

You will be critical to the growth of Genesys inthe UK being responsible for new business within a defined territory, focusingon businesses with up to 150 agents.

We are passionate about Customer Experience and oursolutions pivot around improving a customer journey and we expect our staff toshare this passion and it should be evident at every opportunity in a salesengagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively sell a broad portfolio ofproducts across a wide range of industries
  • Identify customer needs and effectivelyunderstand and respond to customer objections
  • Negotiate and close new businessopportunities
  • Be proactive in all aspects ofopportunity development
  • Connect client's business objectiveswith Genesys offerings and solutions
  • Collaborate with peers and managementaround ways to continually improve the sales organisation
  • Assist the customer in maximizing thereturn of their investment with Genesys
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence(i.e. strong business acumen)
  • Work closely with both internal andexternal teams to ensure service excellence

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a newbusiness/hunter role selling b2b, complex cloud based solutions. Ideally youwill have sold either enterprise software or contact centre solutions.
  • Proven record of meeting/exceedingestablished goals
  • Excellent objection handling andnegotiating abilities
  • Ability to effectively communicate withinternal and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Ability to effectively collaborate andwork alongside multiple team members across different departments
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills

The Account Executive team is responsible for allcustomers and opportunities across the Genesys Mid-Market business. They fulfila vital role of leveraging leads provided by Marketing and developing newopportunities of their own, handling all different kinds of sales scenarios andultimately closing opportunities provided to them. The Account Executive's maingoal is to turn as many opportunities into closed deals as possible. Once anopportunity has been closed, the Account Executive's job is to help manage theinitial phases of post-sales support and ensure implementation is set upaccordingly. This is achieved through the support of additional resources -such as Technical Pre-Sales Support and Business Consultants – whose goal is tohelp you close the deal. #LI-AR1
