Lead Recruiter

We are seeking a Lead Recruiter to focus on attracting and recruiting for our technical and non-technical positions. You will be responsible for managing and supporting the entire recruiting process for all assigned roles. In addition, you will have in depth understanding of how to work within an ATS and provide accurate and timely reporting across all positions you and your team are responsible for.


The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to:

  • Coach, mentor, train and monitor the success of the recruitment team, ensuring that recruiting targets are consistently met and exceeded
  • Motivate team members
  • Source, recruit, and interview top talent for technical and non-technical positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine hiring objective and prioritization
  • Pre-screen all candidates prior to their meeting with the hiring manager
  • Interview all candidates, inclusive of phone, Skype and in person interviewing as appropriate
  • Promote the Genesys brand through the recruiting process
  • Provide guidance and support on refining job descriptions as required
  • Post positions on appropriate job boards and with local universities and alumni sites
  • Utilize social and professional networks
  • Research and recommend sources for active and passive candidates
  • Review resumes and credentials for relevance of skills and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Ensure reference checks, applications, and other required forms are completed prior to offer extension
  • Gather and collect post-interview feedback from interview team, assist interview team with development of interview process
  • Effectively partner with HR business partners and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth recruiting process and experience for everyone involved
  • Provide regular updates and metrics to hiring managers as required
  • Ensure candidate data and tracking is all completed within the ATS

Qualifications/Skills Desired and Preferred:

  • Must have 10- 12 years of recruiting experience in technology space
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed and matrix based workforce
  • Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is mandatory
  • Experience with Taleo ATS is a plus
  • Ability to deliver reporting and metrics on a regular basis
  • Must be sensitive to and proactive about ensuring a positive candidate experience regardless of the eventual outcome
  • Must be able to partner with hiring managers, HR, and the rest of the team effectively
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
