Front-End Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and talented Front-End Engineer to join our rapidly expanding artificial intelligence group based in Galway. You will be joining a collaborative team of like-minded people who thrive on technical problem solving and relish design challenges.

A s a Front-End Engineer in Genesys AI-Group you will build highly performant applic ations using the Angular 2+ framework interacting with our REST APIs . Solid understanding of HTML and CSS and e xperience with other web f rameworks, such as React.js is a plus .

An important part of our product is rendering complex data for non- technical users and ensuring our User Experience is intuitive, ergonomic and easily understood. Therefore, a flair for User Interface Design concepts would be a distinct advantage.

Our engineering team works as a proactive agile scrum. You will work alongside world-class engineers & designers who will support your development and will expect in return passion and commitment for the team and our product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Design team on prototyping and user testing of new UI components.
  • Work within the Engineering team to build robust web scale applications.
  • Bring features all the way through the Design, Beta, Generally Available, Maintain cycle.
Minimum Requirements :
  • B.Eng Computer Science / Electronic Engineering Hons 2.1 or equivalent.
  • You are a strong programmer and know how to write quality code in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS or other
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Self-starter who wants to write world class code and be part of a world-class team.
  • Deep k nowledge of JavaScript
  • Flair for intuitive user interface design
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
