Director, Products & Portfolio Finance



The Director of Products & Portfolio Finance will support Genesys' Chief Products Organization (R&D, Product Management, and Cloud Operations businesses) through business partnership by driving financial analysis to support business planning, budgeting, decision making, and performance tracking (both financial and operational metrics).

Responsibilities will include:

    Partner with the Product Management and Cloud Operations leaders and cross-functional teams to provide finance decision support to achieve product performance and strategic cloud objectives Lead financial analysis for product business cases and operational reviews Develop monitor, analyze, and communicate key financial/operational KPIs across Products / Offers / Solutions Serve as a leader within Products Finance in partnership with other functional finance leads, including Sales, Corp FP&A, Cloud Revenue, Marketing, Pricing Develop models and analyses to support strategic initiatives; plan for and evaluate project ROI across many and diverse product portfolio opportunities Drive process and system improvements within and across the Product Finance organization to support the business transformation May lead a small team within Product Finance

Basic Qualifications:
    Experience in supporting high tech product development organizations, M&A experience and general FP&A experience Experience business partnering with executives Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting with emphasis on prior BU Finance (Product) experience, forecasting, planning, financial analysis, and modeling with relevant experience as an FP&A business partner Experience managing a finance team
Preferred Qualifications:
    Strong systems skills a plus (Adaptive Planning, HostAnalytics, Anaplan, NetSuite, Salesforce, or other comparable financial and ERP systems) Ability to influence through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis Ability to recognize and employ appropriate interaction styles and methods to achieve the desired outcome Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop insights and recommendations that synthesizes information across functions and perspectives Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills. Inquisitive and positive mindset in approaching complex problems
