Director of Enterprise Sales, North Central

The Director of Enterprise Sales, South Central is a hands-on leader who develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes needs to drive revenue for the entire Genesys suite of products through managing direct sales in the Central Sales organization in both existing and net new accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages and develops a team of regional sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Genesys sales process
  • Supporting AEs by participating and leading in customer meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required to maximize opportunities and deliver value to our customers and prospects Invests heavily in each AE's development and opportunities serving as their key mentor Develop a strong, supportive and positive team culture
  • Sells and promotes the sales of Genesys products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale
  • Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division
  • Consistently monitoring and enhancing the sales activities of the team
  • Conducting weekly revenue forecast meetings for respective territories and delivering monthly results
  • Conducts weekly progress meetings and all hands with sales team
  • Develops and executes a territory plan to maximize revenue
  • Assists in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives
  • Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met
  • Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important


Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven track record of consistent over achievement of quotas, targets and key metrics
  • 6-10 years of sales management experience within technology industry.
  • Ability to hire and train new sales representatives.
  • Be a "High Energy", results-oriented achiever and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated track record in software sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills: produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform general education.
  • Ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.
  • Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress and challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • The willingness to travel
  • Bachelor's degree


Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills: produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform general education.
  • Ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.
  • Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress and challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead teams of 5 or more AEs
  • Proven track record of success as an individual contributor leading and winning 7+ figure deals with net new logos
  • The willingness to travel 50%+
