Job Reports to: Director, Marketing Analytics

Job Summary

The Digital Analyst is part of the Marketing Operations and Insights team. The analyst will perform ongoing analysis of digital marketing performance, which includes website funnel performance, content / digital asset performance, and other performance analysis to measure effectiveness and efficiency of digital marketing efforts. The analyst will conduct regular reporting on KPIs and digital metrics and will perform ad hoc analysis as needed. The digital analyst will also work with other members of the Marketing Operations team to maintain and improve quality of digital marketing data within data repositories and marketing systems.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • Produce regular website KPI reporting using Google Analytics and marketing automation data
  • Monitor website reporting to follow trends and identify potential data issues
  • Monitor data quality and process reliability for data integrations involving digital marketing (e.g. ROI reporting, funnel metrics, etc.)
  • Fulfill operational and ad hoc requests for digital reporting
  • Assist with testing and quality assurance of digital processes and data
  • Prepare and validate data used for analysis and operational processes

Minimum Requirements

  • College Degree
  • 2 years analytical experience with exposure to digital marketing
  • Experience or familiarity with
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Some knowledge of marketing automation systems (Marketo preferred)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication sills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel with experience in pivot tables, as well as lookup, logic, and statistical functions
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive
