Account Executive - Mid Market

Genesys is currently recruiting for a Mid-Market Account Executive in Queensland. As a consultative sales professional, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from partners, prospects and current customers. This individual must be proficient in maximizing revenues through a combination of direct/indirect sales and will have demonstrable experience in direct sales and therefore 'high-touch' capabilities. The successful candidate will have experience in selling business solutions in one or more of the following or closely-related categories: Unified Communications, Enterprise PABX, Call Centre, CRM, Solutions/Software etc. The Mid-Market Account Executive is required to solve the business needs of prospects and customers by aligning those needs and objectives with Genesys solution(s). As the Mid-Market Account Executive for QLD, you are responsible for all opportunities, accounts and partners assigned to you that will likely fall across a myriad of industries and sizes (up to 80 Contact Centre seats). This position reports to the Mid-Market Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Conduct one-on-one and/or group sales presentations
  • Responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reports in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Responsible for contract signoff working in conjunction with the legal department
  • Manage relationships with existing Channel Partners
  • Responsible for new Business Development through prospecting, qualifying and selling software solutions and services using both Direct and Indirect sales efforts
  • Identify customer needs and effectively understand and respond to customer objections
  • Connect client's business objectives with Genesys offerings and solutions
  • Retain current customer base and expand footprint through cross/up sell opportunities
  • Effectively sell a broad portfolio of products across a wide range of industries
  • Be proactive in all aspects of opportunity development
  • Establish yourself as a 'Trusted Advisor' to the prospect or customer
  • Bring net new and innovative ideas to the both internal team and the customer
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence (i.e. strong business acumen)

Requirements

  • Excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members
  • Strong time-management and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly resourceful when need to overcome barriers and objections
  • Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within customer/prospect's organization
  • 5 years previous relevant business-to-business experience with a strong record of success and meeting expectations
  • Enterprise software or contact centre industry experience(s) a plus #LI-MP1
