Job Duties & Responsibilities

GEICO is looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join the Mobile Architecture Team to help oversee and drive application design for the GEICO applications across platforms. The Senior iOS Developer will assist in developing iOS applications. The Senior iOS Developer will have demonstrated full life cycle experience analyzing, developing and maintaining applications in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience building Java, .NET or Objective-C applications
  • Thorough understanding of memory management and multithreaded applications
  • Experience with web services, JSON and XML
  • Strong understanding of object oriented development, use of design patterns, and system architecture for mobile devices

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience building native iPhone/iPad applications with at least 1 application in the Apple App Store
  • Experience with Objective-C, iOS SDK, and XCode
  • Experience with Apple’s iOS Human Interface Guidelines
  • Experience with HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS
