GEICO's Corporate Security team is searching for motivated Security Systems Lead to assist with the managing and integration with large scale security systems. Under general supervision of the Corporate Security Manager you will coordinate and implement company security and safety programs, policies, and practices

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• PROVIDES reports to management and staff on safety and security awareness, issues and statistics. RECOMMENDS solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, and new prevention measures
• DEVELOPS and IMPLEMENTS safety and security plans for workplace according to legal guidelines and safety goals set by management

• EVALUATES practices, procedures and facilities to assess potential security risks. ENSURES company's practices, procedures and facilities are in adherence to legal guidelines

• IMPLEMENTS company safety awareness programs. COORDINATES and CONDUCTS training on safety, company policies, and procedures to protect organizational assets

• COORDINATES with numerous project stakeholders to execute strategies and solutions for security system obstacles

• SERVES as a point of contact on security-related issues and ACTS as a subject matter expert

• ADVISES management on all aspects of departmental performance

• INTERACTS with vendors as necessary to handle purchases of hardware, software or services

• ASSIGNS implementation procedures to Security Supervisor if system flaws are found

• ADHERES to GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles

• MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers
