Machine Learning Developer

Job Description

Our Decision Sciences and Transformation (DSaT) team is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Developer. As part of our team you will be responsible for architecting and implementing machine learning systems from conception through production implementation. The role requires proficiency in software design and development as well as experience with AI/Machine Learning techniques. You will also participate in planning of new projects, including work on both machine learning deliverables and the deployment frameworks that host them.

In this role, the ability to build and maintain mission critical production software systems is a must. The ideal candidate is also prepared to provide leadership and synthesize project ideas in areas such as Automated Machine Learning, Data Visualization and ML interpretability, Data Engineering, and Parallel Computing for Machine Learning.

Essential Qualifications

- Proficiency in Java and object oriented software design, algorithm analysis and algorithm implementation

- Experience with Machine Learning Algorithms

- Experience with distributed file systems and distributed computing (especially Apache Spark)

- Experience with Spring Framework and Restful web services and Docker container based deployments

- Strong communication and presentation skills

Desired Qualifications

- Experience with Object oriented development in Scala or Python

- Experience with HBase, Hive, and HDFS

- Graph algorithms expertise

- Experience with graph databases such as Janus, Titan, or Neo4J

- Familiarity with deep neural networks

- Software R&D experience evidenced by publications, conference presentations, or GitHub contributions
